I would like to know how they select winners. For example The salsa band winner doesn't even exist and 3rd and 4th place are NOT salsa bands....Please someone explain

Orquesta: The winners are entirely decided by our readers. Readers and a panel of critics all vote for their faves after Club Crawl in April; the top vote-getters among the readers and the critics then move on to a final round of voting. As for your claims about the bands in the Latin Jazz/Salsa category ... I respectfully request that you do some more research, because you're wrong.
